Teens: Learn about Business, Entrepreneurship, Finances, and More this Summer
In tune with Financial Literacy Month, we wanted to share this awesome summer opportunity with our Rock Your Block community!
Minnesota Business Venture 2012
What is it?
Minnesota Business Venture (MBV) is a FUN, week-long residential program designed to introduce high school students to the business world through first-hand experiences. 99% of last summer’s students would recommend MBV to another student! Students live on a college campus, meet numerous business leaders, and listen to knowledgeable speakers from various companies. MBV shows students how to apply marketing, entrepreneurship, investing, leadership skills and much more to life, school and future careers. MBV is an outstanding enhancement on college and job applications!
When is it?
There are two options to choose from:
- July 8-13 at St. Cloud State University
- July 22-27 at St. John’s University
How much is it?
Camp is $125 for the entire week. This includes living in a dorm room, 3 all-you-can-eat meals every day, and lots of fun! There is also a bus from Minneapolis and from St. Paul that can bring you to and from camp for free. Financial aid is available – complete the pink-outlined box on your application if this applies to you.
How do I attend?
1.) Fill out the application form, include the essays and attain signatures!
2.) Please send in the application to the BestPrep office (address on the back of the brochure.)
3.) Wait for the acceptance letter from BestPrep.
Next steps:
After BestPrep receives your application, you will be notified of your acceptance and will be sent one more form (i.e. emergency contact information) to fill out.
